What Is 8-3-11

Hello all.

I wanted to post this, to see if anyone had any information on it. I'm on /x/ and nobody's being helpful in the slightest. Maybe it's because they don't know at all, or they do--but they don't want to tell a "noob". While I was on ZenHex today, I was looking over the forum to see if anyone posted anything worth replying to since the site rebooted. Nothing as usual, except for one thread which caught my attention. It was simply titled "8-3-11".

When I looked at the thread, the OP only said that not much is known about it and it's pretty creepy. And I guess the other members (we call them hexxors on the site) had really confused looks...replies. The only other thing the OP had were the links to the formspring and official webpage. Looking over both, it was a little strange. The person that runs the formspring, 175,000; doesn't give much information. It's all vague. Their page isn't helpful either. One page just has a .pdf flyer and one is just an icon of a dark umbrella and no text. While all this is going on, there's very weird background noise. I would explain it, but I'm too creeped out to play it back again to explain.

I know how you guys like to do research,so maybe you guys can find something on this. Any sort of information that can explain this oddity would be helpful. Not only for myself, but for my fellow hexxors and those on formspring. I'm awaiting replies on /x/ about it and a response from 175,000 on formspring. Until then, I'm coming up empty handed.

Edit: Someone on a 8-3-11 thread on /x/ just replied back. They said the following:

"Sorry, its pretty much face value as of right now. The number stations are a nice touch, but don't yeild anything interesting. Other than talk all we can do is participate."

This just makes it all the more creepy. I got some chills. I'll continue to post updates as they come, or anything I get in terms of replies. Again, anything you guys can find too would be extremely helpful.

Edit: 175,00; who runs the formspring said "8•3•11" is the more correct. My mistake,but it's the same thing I guess.

Edit: Christ, the one thread feels to be going off topic. The other I'm on is interesting and very long. People have spoken about trying to get in contact with people who might know who's at the place where the site is connected to. There's more info on 8*3*11's formspring and there's a theory floating around that 8*3*11 isn't a math problem, but a Bible verse; and she (Belle) revolves around it. If you want to know more, then go to /x/ and look for the thread with the picture of Belle as depicted on the formspring page and the website. I will not post the link(s); because that's for you to look up.

I feel like I am getting needlessly scared over this. I don't know why, but for some reason I think something is actually going to happen on 8-3-11.

Oh 175,000 has it as 8•3•11, and says its more correct. So it's a math problem?

And according to an Anon that's on /x/, they send 175,000 a question and he replied right away. According to them, 68,000 is the encoder of the site and Belle, the girl in the picture; is a symbol of theirs and is not directly involved.

I'm kinda excited to see what happens : D

Update: I'm not certain who runs the facebook accounts. It could be 68,000 or 18,000. But 175,000 has resigned for the time being. According to these, 18,000 does all the programming and the grand reveal will take place on August 3rd at midnight to 3am. I'm not sure if that's EST or whatever.

The only other information I found was that Belle, the girl in the picture, is still alive and they reside in North America. Supposedly, they're somewhere in Texas; according to researchers on /x/. There's still a lot of talk about Arabella Mansfield and the code being deciphered. Assume nothing, but I'm going to guess that 18,000 runs the formspring now.

Someone on formspring asked if anyone involved with 8*3*11 has been in contact with Belle; and he said yes. I'm trying to look for the image everyone's talking about. If I find it again, I'll leak it...so if any of you guys like to crack codes; then have fun with it.

According to a site I found, the code has been cracked. So this might be pointless. Here's the image. I would post something odd I found. But if you go to /x/, I posted it on the main thread about Belle and 8*3*11

This is the only other information to be added to the /x/ thread. And, as state previously; nothing new has been asked on formspring in 22 hours.

Remember, the reveal WILL take place on August 3rd 2011. You can find this on Facebook. When it comes, I'll be sure to post as much as I physically can.

Huh. Well, after ALL that, it turned out to be completely fake. I'm disappointed, but to be honest I kind of expected something like this to go down.

It's been fun while it lasted. I'm just surprised they didn't wait until the date...or that it was this hoaxy. I was expecting something big and dramatic.
